Poster Sessions on
“Partners and institutions” & “Projects of partners”
1st Action Meeting, 7-8 September 2017,
we would like to give you some additional information on the two poster sessions, which we have scheduled during the meeting.
– Day 1 afternoon: Posters about partners and institutions
– Day 2 all day: Posters about projects of partners
During the Core Group meeting it became clear that there is a need and desire to give room for people getting to know each other and learning about their research interests, projects, etc. We have discussed different ideas on how to respond to this demand, including speed dating, call for posters, guided poster tours, etc. Finally, the decision was taken to go for free poster sessions open to anybody interested to present and watch.
On the first day, we’d like to invite posters, where people give information about themselves, their institutions and research groups as well as their main research interests and their specific interest for enetCollect.
On the second day, we will give room for posters on specific projects, initiatives or approaches that are relevant to enetCollect. These posters are expected to be very much content-related and specific to certain topics. Feel free to reuse relevant posters you might have presented at another meeting or conference, if you see fit.
Posters will be displayed over the entire afternoon/day. We ask you to indicate on the poster a time slot (even just half an hour during coffee break) during which you will be able to attend your own poster and answer to questions. You are not requested to stay next to the poster all day/afternoon.
In addition, we encourage to attach a picture of yourself to the poster, in order to allow people to recognize yourself easily during the meeting days.
Please let us know by August 28, whether you intend to present posters, at one day or both, indicating the names of the authors and the title of the poster(s).
